It made it possible to meet the regulatory requirements demanded by CHESTNY ZNAK, the Russian national traceability hub managed by CRPT, the exclusive operator of the system. Moreover, it has been possible to maintain the integrity of the design and aesthetics of the water bottle, a distinctive and characterizing element of the flagship products.
“For BAIKALSEA we have developed a customized solution – stated Pavel Bulgakov, General Director of Antares Vision RUS –: a datamatrix code printed on the label, mandatory for serialization, is associated with an auxiliary code printed with a special ink (not visible to the naked eye, but only with UV ultraviolet light) on the cap of the bottle, thus making it possible to aggregate the serialized product inserted in the package and trace it along the entire production chain. This is a very successful operation, considering the completely preserved aesthetics of the product and the operating costs per bottle, which are ten times lower than the most common alternative, the application of an adhesive with datamatrix on the cap. The low number of rejects achieved is now also a reference for the market, an unprecedented result".
The experience with BAIKALSEA Co has allowed Antares Vision Group to accredit itself as a technology partner able to meet all the requirements of the beverage regulations for traceability and, at the same time, to provide solutions for products that must satisfy particular consumer needs. BAIKALSEA Co is the first company to successfully complete the serialization process (printing of the unique code on the label), also thanks to the technological contribution of Antares Vision Group.
